  it seems that irwin zalkin has obtained undisclosed settlement in the case.

  the $4000 a day fine then seems to be dead.

  Enforcing the "two witness" rule is good enough for me. The governing body uses it to hide criminals and cover up their crimes. Never mind that they also leave other children unprotected and victims helpless. Oh I forgot, the broad interpretation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects religious criminals too. We need the 28th amendment to fix the vagueness of the First Amendment. "The hell with religious privileges", I would call it.

  Organization Updates for POMOs?

  i've been physically out since early 2014. before that, i was mentally out for a long period of time.

  now, having zero contact with family or former friends, plus living in a southeast asian country where it is possible to not ever see a jw.

  since i have discovered this site, i'm learning lots of things about the organization that i wasn't aware of before.

  hey its me if any one remembers me,i just wanted to post saying that ive been doing well.right now im just trying to live life and have some fun while im still a kid.it still sucks to have to go to meetings etc.. like the title i wanted to say thanks for the people that helped me when i was posting a lot.i might post some times but not as much as i used to..

  Glad you are doing well Kid. Since you are stuck with the religion for some time make the best of the experience. Remember the people around you are innocent victims, so don't resent them even when they are harsh with you.

  Also, as someone said before, there's wisdom in the Bible. Just keep in mind that it was written by people and for people who lived two thousands or more years ago. My two favorite books are Job and Ecclesiastes. I don't like the New Testament because I feel it contains too much emotional manipulation, but I am sure something good can be gleaned from it. As I said, make the best of what you got. Life can only get better from this point on, much better. Don't dwell to long on the bumps along the road.

  My Dissociation letter

  hi to everyone!i was summoned to the judicial committee and went.

  it was a respectful conversation from one side to the other.

  in the end i handed the dissociation letter in hand and a binding to each of the elders, with an article i wrote on the subject, "are jehovah's witnesses a destructive sect?

  Next time you create a topic can you elaborate on what the heck you are talking about. Few quotes could go a long way. I noticed other people gave you 2 dislikes. I added one more. You do this quite frequently, leaving people wondering.

  Don't worry too much. The recovery process is going to be worth all the pain you are getting now, because you will be free in a whole new world, much better world. It will be scary at first, but you will learn to navigate it, just as you learn to walk, one step at the time.

  the government set up the iccsa independnt inquiry into child sexual abuse some time ago and their has been a delay in the inquiry operating as thw role of chair s established.. typo in heading, sorry .

  Elders get the report and report it to Watchtower, that's it. NO professional HELP to victim, NO serious PREVENTION, NO CRIMINAL charges.

  Police officer get a report and promptly start an investigation to HELP the victim, PREVENT other victims and bring CRIMINAL charges against abuser.

  If child abuse prevention doesn't work, no other organization reacts as swiftly and forcefully as the Watchtower does to protect...well...the Watchtower.
